Did you go to college? Where? What did you study?
I’m actually still degree-less and proud of my independent success! I did some college, but mostly I learned by diving directly in to the work force. During and after college, I ran two companies for an entrepreneur – everything from accounts payable/receivable to marketing to managing and hiring staff. Paired with being an Avon representative, it gave me a taste of the entrepreneurial life without the risk associated. I majored in music, psychology, and business.
You finally got the interview. Whoo Hoo! Now, what? Your first step is to dress to impress but not over do it. If you can get your parents to buy you a suit or if you can splurge to get one yourself, that would be ideal. For women, don’t wear tight-fitting clothing or have your skirt six inches above the knee or bare all your cleavage. For men, when you select an undershirt, please make it plain and not something that has text on it that may offend anyone if it shows through your dress shirt.

It doesn’t hurt to ask.”
