6.) Manage your money
How are you going to pay your bills? Do you know how much you owe? Find out.

7.) Get recommendations and letters of reference from your professors now.
Employers might want letters of recommendation or letters of reference. It will be easier for you to bug, I mean, remind your professor while you are still on campus.

Last week, I spoke at Connecticut College and I asked the students how they were feeling about graduating, almost all of them said they were scared because they didn’t know what they were going to do next. And I definitely remember that feeling of wondering what I was going to do after college: I had no idea what I was going to do –and to make matters worse I didn’t really think about it. You know what I did?

When you first get out of college, you expect the world to embrace you and give you the perfect position of your dreams.

Unfortunately, the world doesn’t work that way. Business is a cold and lonely world that is especially harsh on those that don’t know how to navigate and find those connections that will ultimately deliver a position.
